The Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County is dedicated to alleviating hunger, developing programs to increase awareness of the hunger problem and providing an opportunity for volunteerism and community involvement.  Click the link below to see how the City of Dana Point is making a difference in the battle against hunger.

The City of Dana Point has partnered with Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County to serve as a food drive collection site.  The collection barrel for non-perishable food items is located inside our Community Center building at 34052 Del Obispo, Dana Point.

Employees, schools, students and the community alike are invited to fight hunger in Orange County by donating canned and dry food products, as well as personal care products, paper products and baby care items to support the City’s food and goods collection campaign.

In addition to accepting donated goods, Second Harvest Food Bank will also accept cash donations if you so choose. Every $1.00 donated to Second Harvest provides $12.00 worth of food to the needy. A display of how much of an impact your cash donation has on providing meals to the needy is shown below. If you would like to donate cash in any amount, please go to the Second Harvest Food Bank website at https://www.feedoc.org/donate/.
