Dana Point is quickly emerging as a Southern California arts community. The City's picturesque beauty inspires many types of creative expression.

The City of Dana Point has an Art in Public Places program to provide public art with new major developments. Anticipated Town Center projects will bring art pieces as building construction begins. Future public art is included in the Town Center Plan to help transform the area into a vibrant, cultural, pedestrian friendly downtown.

There are several Local Arts Organizations to foster the arts in Dana Point and, together, create local synergy and a variety of activities for artists and those interested in art. In addition, the City of Dana Point offers a variety of painting, drawing, cartooning, acting, music, and dance classes and workshops for kids, teens and adults.
