Earth Day has been celebrated nationwide since the Spring of 1970. Join us as we spread awareness and appreciation for our environment. Create fun eco-friendly crafts and learn about the importance of protecting natural environments through hands-on activities.
- Volunteer for the Beach/Harbor Clean-Up from 9am-11am & get FREE admission to the Institute for the day! Clean-up hours ar 9am-11am; check-in at the front of the Ocean Institute; supplies will be provided. Registration is not required, however for groups of 10 or more please call Jonathan Witt, in advance, at (949) 496-2274 x330 or email him at jwitt@ocean-institute.org so that we can have ample supplies available for the clean-up.
Public hours are 10am to 3pm. Admiission price is $6.50 for Adults (13 yrs.+) and $4.50 for children (3-12 years); Children 2 and under & members are free. Call (949) 496-2274 or visit www.ocean-institute.org for more info.
