The Native Americans of the Orange County region call themselves the Acjachemen (A-ha-che-men) Nation. The Acjachemen Nation have lived prosperously for more than 10,000 years on the coastlands of Orange County.
The Doris Walker Acjachemen History Walk will highlight the Acjachemen Native Americans history and how they utilized the land. Much of the information highlighted in the tour comes from history books by the late Dana Point Historian Doris Walker.
