CITY OF DANA POINT IS SEEKING CANDIDATES FOR THE NEWLY FORMED ARTS AND CULTURE COMMISSION
At its meeting of July 25, 2011, the Dana Point City Council formally established an Arts and Culture Commission. The Arts and Culture Commission will serve as an advisory body to the City Council on matters pertaining to artistic, aesthetic and cultural aspects of the City.
The City Council is seeking five members of the public to serve on the Commission. The Council will fill three (3) positions with a four (4) year term ending June 30, 2015 and two (2) positions with a two (2) year term ending June 30, 2013.
In order to be eligible for appointment, applicants must be residents and registered voters of the City of Dana Point. Applications can be obtained from the Office of the City Clerk beginning Monday, August 1, 2011 at 33282 Golden Lantern, Suite 203, Dana Point, California 92629 or by calling (949) 248-3501. In order to be considered for appointment, applications must be filed no later than Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at 5:30 p.m. in the City Clerkâs Office at the address noted above.
