Festival of Whales Parade

Kicking off the festivities is the Festival of Whales Parade on Saturday, March 5th beginning at 10:00am.  The parade route starts at the Richard Henry Dana statue on the Island Way bridge, goes over the bridge then right on Dana Harbor Drive and ends at Dana Point Harbor Drive and Golden Lantern.  The parade can be viewed from sections of the Island Way bridge, and along Dana Harbor Drive.  The parade features giant parade balloons, marching bands, military units, floats and local entries.  The City of Dana Point and the Festival of Whales Committee is pleased to announce that Jean Pierre Van Swae, “The Fly”, is the 2022 Grand Marshal.
