The Dana Point 5th Marine Regiment Support Group will continue with the "American Heroes" theme for our Annual Car Wash.  This year, we not only honor our active duty Heroes of today, but we also honor those who gave their life for their country in the Vietnam War and those Veterans who did return home, but sacrificed so much.  With the dedication of the 5th Marine Vietnam Memorial at Camp Pendleton, and the 50th Anniversary of the Vietnam War, we honor our American Heroes!

On Saturday, June 30, 2018, the Dana Point 5th Marine Regiment Support Group will be holding an American Heroes Car Wash Extravaganza at Doheny Village Hand Car Wash.  All water used at the car wash is reclaimed and recycled.  Look for our "Heroes Car Wash" signs along the route.  Doheny Village Hand Car Wash is locate at 34241 Doheny Park Road, Dana Point, across the street from Pepi's Sports Bar and Grill.

In the morning hours there will be complimentary coffee from Coffee Importers in the harbor and fresh, home-baked goods. Lunchtime, you will enjoy a Barbeque Feast, compliments of Damian Collins, owner of Waterman's Harbor and Stillwater in Dana Point.  There will be opportunities for locals to learn more about our community and the Fighting 5th Marines by visiting a Marine Corps recruiting booth and meeting local police and fire-fighters, who will have their equipment there for display.

Marines will be visiting with the public as they towel dry the autos coming through the facility.  They will be working shoulder to shoulder with the Dana Hills Football Team.  Donations, in any amount, will be gratefully accepted.  We are still collecting funds for the 5th Marine Vietnam Memorial.  Though dedicated on Memorial Day, May 28th, our final payment is due and we appreciate your support of this worthy mission!
