The VFW Post 9934 and the City of Dana Point will present a beautiful Memorial Day Service in Pines Park honoring the sacrifices made by our nation to earn our freedom. This Memorial Day Service will include special recognition for veterans of Iraq, Afghanistan, and the Global War on Terrorism.

A special part of this program is the “Boots and Rifle” ceremony conducted by officers of Post 9934, and the bugle call, TAPS played by that master of the trumpet, David Longoria.

If you have never attended this special Memorial Day Service, it is very moving. It is 90 minutes out of your holiday weekend that really brings home how fortunate we are to be Americans.

We encourage you to share this special service overlooking the blue Pacific with your children, your parents, and your friends. Come and pay respect to those who gave so much so we could enjoy the privileges we have.
