American Cancer Society Relay for Life of Dana Point
SAVE THE DATE!
I would like to ask for your help with our American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Dana Point 2008 that will take place on April 19, 2008 through April 20, 2008.
I invite you to help us make this unique event a success.
The Relay For Life is a fun and inspirational 24-hour event that brings together a community to raise funds for cancer research, the development of new prevention and detection programs, to help the American Cancer Society continue to provide its expansive patient support programs and to further its advocacy efforts. The American Cancer Society Relay For Life is the largest cancer-fighting event in the nation, raising nearly hundreds of millions of dollars last year alone! It’s a time and place where people come to celebrate those who have survived cancer, remember those we’ve lost, and fight back against a disease that touches too many lives.
The Relay For Life of Dana Point is about a community, our community, that takes up the initiative for awareness and the fight against cancer.
I urge you to get involved in some way.
* Put together a team.
* Become a Sponsor and raise your profile in our community by demonstrating your generosity and involvement.
* Dedicate a Luminaria to be lit at the evening ceremony.
* Make a Donation of food, services, your time, a raffle item, etc.
* Join the planning committee. Committee members are still needed to fulfill many different responsibilities!
You can sign up a team online or find out more information at: events.cancer.org
