Discover art at-large on the shores of Southern California with dozens of hand-painted, life-size baby elephant sculptures on display at Doheny State Beach. These colossal creative masterpieces were colorfully decorated by acclaimed artists, iconic celebrities and local talent, all to save a species now threatened with extinction. 7:30 P.M. - Watch a movie under the stars. A powerful documentary, “How I Became an Elephant” tackles the epic problems facing elephants today. Don’t forget to bring your blankets and chairs or even pack a picnic!
Saturday - August 24, 2013 10a – 6p
Meet and greet some of the artists face-to-face, and enjoy live music, interviews, and workshops throughout the day.
Sunday - August 25, 2013 12 – 6p
Let your imagination run wild with creative kids’ activities before the herd heads out for their final locations.
