The City of Dana Point will be teaming up with CR&R to host a Bulky Item Drop-Off Day event on Saturday, October 19, 2013 from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Dana Hills High School and Palisades Elementary School.
Bulky items such as large appliances, furniture, cardboard, tires, green waste, old bbq grills and other large items will be accepted for FREE by the City's waste hauler CR&R. CR&R will also collect fluorescent light tubes.
**FREE** onsite document shredding services will be available for Dana Point residents at the Dana Hills High School location ONLY. Secure document collection bins will be available at Palisades Elementary School until 2:00pm for document destruction.
Goodwill will be available to accept donateable items, as well as E-waste, such household batteries, televisions, printers, computers, old phones.
Household Hazardous Waste, such as paint, motor oil, feritilizers, spray cans, propane tanks, etc. will NOT be accepted.
Over 50% of the items collected at these events are recycled, so do your part and bring those items taking up too much space in your garage and yard.
