CITY OF DANA POINT IS SEEKING CANDIDATES FOR THE CHARITABLE GRANT SUBCOMMITTEE
The Charitable Grant Subcommittee shall review applications and award grant funds to established non-profit organizations that benefit the Dana Point community and have a track record for fundraising and viability. The City Council is seeking three members of the public to serve on the Subcommittee for a term of two fiscal years beginning July 2009. The Subcommittee shall meet in conjunction with the two grant filing window cycles of each year, with filing deadlines of October 1st and April 1st. Interested residents are encouraged to apply.
In order to be eligible for appointment, applicants must be registered voters and residents of the City of Dana Point. Applications can be obtained from the Office of the City Clerk beginning Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at 33282 Golden Lantern, Suite 203, Dana Point, California, 92629 or by calling (949) 248-3501. Applications can also be downloaded from the City's website (below). In order to be considered for appointment, applications must be filed no later than Friday, May 1, 2009 at 4:30 p.m. in the City Clerk's Office.
