American Cancer Society Relay for Life Kickoff Rally

Make 2009 the year you make good on your New Year’s resolution and give back to the local community by pledging your support to the 4th Annual Relay for Life of Dana Point. As the American Cancer Society’s signature event, Relay for Life raises vital funds to help save lives, while supporting those touched by cancer and empowering those fighting back against the disease. With the money raised at the 2009 Relay for Life of Dana Point, the American Cancer Society will continue its mission of working toward a future without cancer.
This goal is only achieved with the support of the community, which is why the American Cancer Society wants you to attend its kickoff rally at The Ocean Institute in the Dana Point Harbor on Wednesday, February 18. Featuring complimentary refreshments and taking place from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m., this highly anticipated event is open to the public, free of charge. So, if looking to honor cancer survivors (anyone who has ever been diagnosed with cancer) and caregivers, or pay tribute to those who have lost their battle with cancer, help the American Cancer Society fight back by joining this worthy cause.
During the February 18 kickoff rally, families, caregivers, cancer survivors, schools and businesses will be able to catch a sneak peek of the 2009 Relay experience, learn how to join the cause as a Committee member, sponsor, or team member, while also benefiting from reduced registration fees.
