The City of Dana Point and the Surfing Heritage Foundation are considering the possibility of locating a world class surfing museum and cultural heritage facility in Dana Point, possibly at Sea Terrace Park.
Dana Point is rich in surfing history, which is why the Surfing Heritage Foundation has identified Dana Point as the ideal location for its “Smithsonian of Surfing” museum “to preserve and showcase surfing’s heritage for future generations.” The City of Dana Point will hold a Town Hall meeting to allow the Surfing Heritage Foundation to explain the vision for a Surfing Heritage Museum and to receive comments from the public about the potential facility.
For more information, please attend the Town Hall meeting or contact Lynn Kelly at lkelly@danapoint.org or (949) 248-3512.
